How to Navigate your Home Screen

Home Screen on the Plume Home app

The Main Menu Bar

The main menu bar can be found at the bottom of most screens. However, it is not displayed during certain actions such as viewing the topology or applying some settings.  It contains the navigation buttons for the four main pages:

  1. The Home page.  Important information and actions from different parts of the app are displayed here.  There are also some shortcuts to other pages here.

On the Home page, you can run an internet speed test and view/manage your WiFi password. In the Manage section, you can also quickly view ongoing or upcoming focus schedules.

In the Activity section, you can see new devices that have connected, speed tests that have run,, and security events.

  2. The Profiles page. People and Group profiles can be found here. From this page you can create a group or a profile as well as create a Focus schedule. Creating a profile for people in your home allows certain settings (e.g., Focus schedule) to be applied to all devices assigned to the profile without needing to apply them to each device.

With each profile, you can view how many devices are online, how long they have spent on their devices and how many devices are focused. From this page, you can also quickly set a timeout for all devices connected to a profile. You can also view security events that are associated with the devices connected to a profile.

  1. The Network Page.  Here nodes and devices are listed.  Actions specific to each can be accessed from here.

Under the Connectivity tab, you can view the status of your network, change the name of your SSID, view/manage your WiFi password, and set up a secondary WiFi.

Under the Devices tab, you can view all devices connected to your network and filter by online devices, offline devices, devices in Focus mode and quarantined devices.

  2. The Settings page.  Settings for the entire network are found here.  This includes traditional router settings, default security settings, privacy settings, and app notifications.

Clicking your profile at the top right-hand corner will give you the option to log out of the Plume Home app
