Create a new password for Internet Only?

Adding new Internet only Passwords (WPA2)

A device connecting to an Internet only password cannot communicate with any other device on the network. A WPA2 network must be enabled to add a new Internet only password. To enable a WPA2 network, see How do I enable multiple passwords?

  1. Open the Network page.
  2. Open the Passwords page. If a WAP3 network is also enabled you will need to swipe to find the Passwords tile.  Tap on it to open the Passwords page
  3. Each type of access for multiple passwords can be found below the SSID.  Tap the Internet- only tab to select it.
  4. Under the tabs should be a button.  Tap it to Create Internet-only password.
  5. Enter the password you would like to create.
  6. Select the expiry time.
    1. The buttons below the password entry show how long the password will be active before it is disabled.  Options for disabling a password are: Never, after 1 hour, after 3 hours, and at the End of day (11:59pm).  Never is selected by default.
  7. Tap the Create button at the bottom of the screen to add the password.

A pop-up notification will confirm the new password has been created.  All Internet only passwords can be disabled, deleted or reactivated once created.

Note: Guests using an Internet-only password will only be able to connect to the 2.4 GHz and 5G Hz bands since 6 GHz operation on compatible hardware also require WPA3.
