Adding people allows you to conveniently monitor and manage their WiFi access.
Adding a Profile
- From the Profiles page, tap on the + button.
- Choose the Person option.
- Add a photo using the camera icon, enter the profile's name.
- Personalize protection information. This allows you to control Content filtering as well as their Ad blocking and Online defense settings for all their assigned devices while they are connected to the network.
- To invite the person to the Plume Home app, toggle on Invite to the Plume Home app and enter their email address.
- You can also choose how much access they have to the Plume Home app.
- Tap on Add
- In the next screen, swipe through the list of unassigned devices to assign devices to the profile. The devices you select will apply the rules set in the previous step to those devices and allow you to monitor and manage the person's Internet usage.
- Once all devices have been selected and you tap on Done.
Please note that creating a person using the steps above does not give them the ability to manage the network.
Removing a Profile
- On the Profiles page, swipe to navigate to the profile you want to remove.
- Tap on the pencil icon on the profile picture.
- Tap on Remove profile , then Confirm. This will remove the profile and historical data consumption information for that person. All previously assigned devices for that person will now be unassigned.
Note: This does not disable their access to the WiFi if they still have the password.
