How do I remove a device?

Offline devices can be removed from the device list.  This can be done from the Network page or from any place the device details can be viewed.

  1. On the Network page, tap on the Devices tab.
  2. The Offline filter in Devices will show any devices that can be removed.  However, any place device details can be selected from will work (e.g. from a person profile).
  3. Tap on a device to open the device details.
  4. Tap on the menu button in the top right corner of the details screen.  It will remain at the top of the screen when scrolling down.
  5. Select Forget device.
  6. A window will open with Confirm and Cancel buttons. Tap Confirm to remove the device.  If the device is online, a window will open letting the user know that the device must be offline to be removed.

A pop-up notification will confirm that the device has been removed.

Devices will be removed automatically by the network after 14 days when not assigned to a person.  This process allows a device to be removed, even if it is assigned to a person.
